Dear Sir,
We are a small CBO based in Kisumu City working for children for their socioeconomic development and their child rights. Our CBO was founded after the 2007 post election violence that left abount 1500 people dead and 600,000 homeless.After the post election violence we have been involved in psychosocial rehabilitation of children who lost their parents, guiardians and who were displaced internally and in the process of this we try to intergrate these children into the society.

I am writing this email to give us information about small grants and how and when to apply for it. Also kindly provide us with application forms.

Dearest Priscilla, of course we are familiar with the Little Angels of the Environment in Cameroon, I believe that we met in Yaounde at the UNEP Children’s Conference in 2007 and we’ve featured a picture of your chidlren singing on the site (not sure if it is presently there!) Please take a look at the Take Action Now guide which is now posted on the home page. Grants are up to $50 and need to be submitted by children between the ages of 10-16 affiliated with a youth organization. So, indeed, your NGO can support a team of child applicants. An online application will be available here in a few weeks. Until then, perhaps you can follow the guidebook and support the kids to set their goals and objectives for the project. All the best!

Dear Rita, thank you so much for sharing your important work in Tiblisi. It sounds like the Child’s Crossroad is really making a difference in Georgia. Our small grants programme is to support the local environmental actions of children in their communities and are up to $50 each. An online application will become live in a few weeks time, but until then, I would suggest referencing the Take Action Now publication which is now posted on our home page and for the children in your group to consider the goals and objectives for their project.
